Wearing Your Sling While Pregnant

A high tummy to tummy or hip carry are great options while you are expecting! A hip carry is an especially wonderful way to wear a toddler with a baby bump (see video below).

Also, when late pregnancy starts to become uncomfortable (baby's rapid growth in the final weeks can wreak havoc on your lower back!), your sling will double as the perfect soft and comfortable bump wrap, alleviating some of the low back and pelvic pain, keeping baby's weight nice and high to your center of gravity.

As with anything, it's always best to listen to your body while pregnant and to consider any flexibility restrictions you might have in order to make sure that you don't overdo it, and to check with your doc if you have any Qs at all about carrying added weight while pregnant with your little one.
