A Benefit For Hurricane Harvey

*Update: Over the last 4 days, with the help of our amazing community, we were able to raise $12,185.00 to donate directly to Circle of Health to help expectant parents and families with newborns affected by Hurricane Harvey to cover costs of food, transportation, clothing and healthcare. Our two winners are Sarah Hawkins and Janey Sherman. Thank you ALL who donated, we appreciate your help so much!

Harvey is the first Category 4 hurricane to make landfall in the United States since Hurricane Charley in 2004. Houston is the fourth most populated city in the US, making this hurricane overly devastating.

With peak accumulations of 51.88 in (131.8 cm), Harvey is the wettest tropical cyclone on record in the contiguous United States. The resulting floods prompted more than 13,000 rescues, displaced more than 30,000 people, and inundated hundreds of thousands of homes.

This is where we come in!

COHI is providing cash grants to expectant parents and families with newborns affected by Hurricane Harvey to cover costs of food, transportation, clothing and healthcare.

We are calling on our amazing community to help! Please, join us as we raise money to help the people affected by Hurricane Harvey.  We are raffling off not one, but two, amazing one-of-a-kind Shabd Onbuhimos.

Tickets for the raffle entry can be purchased here

These sweet babes and their mama, Vanessa, and her family (including her husband + 3 other children) left their mobile/trailer home behind in Mustang Ridge, Texas, early Saturday morning after a night of high winds and heavy rain. They drove to Austin fearing that their children's lives could be in danger. They left with little more than some supplies for their baby.⠀

This is one of the real time families that COHI is caring for: cash grants to help cover evacuation related costs, medicine, diapers, baby clothes, wipes, bras, women's underwear, and menstrual health supplies. This is where we are focusing our efforts right now. ⠀
