Sakura Bloom is proud to support Machik Inc, a non-profit, non-governmental organization working with Tibetan communities to promote sustainable development. Machik focuses on socially innovative and culturally respectful programs in education, environmental protection, women’s empowerment, economic development, and health issues. Many of Machik’s projects are with children; the inclusion of community members across the generations is one key to the overwhelming success of Machik’s work.
According to co-founder Losang Rabgey, “By building common ground across many socio-economic and cultural boundaries, our projects have taken off in ways we didn’t anticipate.”
